SSC JE Exam Details
Staff Selection Commission Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Quantity Surveying & Contracts) (SSC JE) exam is conducted every year to recruit JEs for various Departments and Organizations of the Central Government of India.
SSC JE Posts
- SSC conducts JE examination to select eligible civil, mechanical, or electrical Junior engineers for the following organizations:
- Central Water Commission
- Central Public Works Department (CPWD)
- Military Engineer Services (MES)
- Border Road Organization
- Central Water and Power Research Station
- Directorate of Quality Assurance (Naval)
- National Technical Research Organization (NTRO)
Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Must be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan
- Age Limit: 18–32 years. Age limit varies from post to post.
- Educational Qualifications: Applicant must have passed the Matriculation exam or an equivalent exam conducted by a recognized Board.
