Staff Section Commission Graduate Level (SSC CGL) Exam aims to recruit people for Group B and Group C posts in several departments of the Government of India. This national level exam is conducted for the following designations:

Group B SSC CGL Posts:

1. Assistant Audit Officer (Indian Audit & Accounts Department)
2. Assistant Accounts Officer (Indian Audit & Accounts Department)
3. Assistant Section Officer(Ministry of Railway, Central Secretariat Service, Ministry of External Affairs, Intelligence Bureau, and Armed Forces Head Quarter)
4. Assistant (Other Departments/Organizations/Ministries)
5. Central Excise Inspector (Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs)
6. Inspector of Income Tax (Central Bureau of Direct Tax)
7. Inspector (Central Bureau of Narcotics)
8. Sub Inspector (Central Bureau of Investigation)
9. Assistant Enforcement Officer (Enforcement Directorate under Department of Revenue)
10. Statistical Investigator Grade-II (Registrar General of India)

Group C SSC CGL Posts

1. Auditor (Offices under Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA) and Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG))
2. Tax Assistant (CBDT and CBIC)
3. Senior Secretariat Assistant/Upper Division Clerks (Central Ministries and Government Offices other than CSCS cadres)
4. Accountant/Junior Accountant (Several Ministries and Departments of Centre)
5. Upper Division Clerks (Central Government Departments) 

Eligibility Criteria

1. Nationality: Must be a Citizen of India, Bhutan, or Nepal
2. Age limit: 18–32 years, depending on the designation. Age relaxations are available for reserved categories.
3. Educational Qualification: Must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
4. Physical Fitness: Required only for posts like sub-Inspector and Inspector

Exam Pattern

SSC CGL exam is conducted in 4 stages— Tier I, II, III, and IV. Tier IV exam is only for some specific posts. Candidates need to clear the previous stages to appear for the final tier.

Exam Syllabus

• This is a descriptive exam aimed at evaluating the English or Hindi Language skills
