With reformulation of the curriculum for B.Ed in a two-year-Iong course, several new topics and subjects have been added to the curriculum, which are quite innovative and thought-provoking by nature, though they seem to be quite complicated and difficult for several scholars, teachers and students. The resent subject, Understandinq Disciplines and Subjects, has introduced several such topics which are quite new in essence, and require to be dealt with insight d knowledge. We have also appended suitable exercises at the end of every apter so as to strengthen and test understanding of each topic in depth.
