Dr. S S Sharma is Asst. Professor at Department of Physics, Govt. Women Engineering College, Ajmer. He has qualified CSIR-NET, SLET and GATE. He has experience of teaching Physics for more than 15 years. He received his Ph.D. from University of Rajasthan, Jaipur in the field of “Organic Solar Cellsâ€. He has more than 55 research publications in International Journals and Proceedings of International & National Conferences. He is life member of Indian Physics Association (IPA), Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT), Material Research Society of India and the Indian Science Congress. He is also associated with Material Research Society of Singapore, Synchrotron Radiation Center, Trieste, Italy and UGC-DAE Consortium for Scientific Research, Indore. He has authored a book on “Synthesis and Characterization of Organic Photovoltaic Cells†from VDM Verlag, Germany. His research interest is in the area of organic semi-conductor materials and devices for electronic and optoelectronic technology. He has been honoured with Innovative Engineer Award from United Engineers Council, Rajasthan for his research work. He has also been awarded DST Young Scientist project by Science & Engineering Research Board, Govt. of India.
