Since several advances are taking place in chemical analysis, many instrumental methods such as absorption/emission spectroscopy, mass spectral methods involving MALDI-TOF-MS, electron microscopy such as AFM are extensively used in Biochemistry. In the concluding two chapters, modern methods of analysis for important biological products such as proteins, nucleic and ammino acids, lipids, enzymes and compounds with low molecular weight are described.The book contains adequate references for additional reading. The appendix deals with important physical constants and Tables of standards useful in biostatistical analysis.This book should be most indispensible for readers in bioanalytical chemistry both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. It should be useful for serious research workers in the field of biotechnology, biochemistry and environmental bioscientists and medicine.
