his new series of Workbook for classes 3-5 is a workbook aligned with the NEP and is based on the NCERT textbook LOOKING AROUND. The workbook provides ample practice, keeping NCERT book as the base. The purpose of these workbooks is to provide students with ample practice material on all topics of mathematics covered in the NCERT textbooks. Each chapter of the workbook contains both, Objective Type Questions (Multiple Choice Questions, Fill in the Blanks, True/False, Match the Columns etc.) and Subjective type Questions (Word problems based on real life situations). Theses workbooks are also equipped with ample number of diagram-based and activity-based questions. In accordance with the NEP, a section named Enhancing My Skills is given at the end of each chapter. This section has been designed to include thought provoking mathematical questions that will help in the development of learning skills, literacy skills and life skills among students. These workbooks will enable students to confidently handle different types of mathematical problems and thus, hone their aptitude in the subject by helping them understand concepts in depth. The purpose of these workbooks is to provide students ample practice material on all the topics of the environmental studies covered in the NCERT textbooks. Each chapter of the workbook contains objective questions (for example, Multiple Choice Questions, Fill in the Blanks, True/False, Match the Columns and so on) as well as the subjective questions (for example, one word/sentence type questions and one or two sentences/two or three sentences type questions). These workbooks also contain questions based on diagrams and questions based on activities. The questions are framed in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP), to develop in students the learning skills, literacy skills and life skills. These workbooks will not only help in the deep understanding of the basic concepts of environmental studies but also make students responsible citizens who can contribute to make this world a better place to live.
